Who we are
We are a Hamburg based financial broker specialising in financing motor boats and sailing yachts. We have been operating in the market place since 2006. In 2016 we changed our name from GYLF GmbH to go boating Finanzierungsmakler GmbH.
We are 100 % owned by CGL, a subsidiary of the Société Générale Banking Group based in Marcq-en-Barœul, France, a country passionate about water sports. CGL has over 40 years of experience in boat financing. Today, CGL is represented by the brands of CGI Finance and SGB Finance in a pan European organisation. CGL now has more than 100,000 ongoing finance files. About 5,000 new files are created each year.
The team of go boating is based in Germany, but is also in charge of Northern Europe. For international clients, we work closely with our colleagues in agencies in France, Italy, Spain and the UK. Our strength is our closeness to dealers and manufacturers, with whom we have been in partnership for many years. We are happy to work in an international environment, offering multilingual staff and contractual documents in more than 1 language. As water sport fans we share your passion for boats and boating.
